Giovanni Bandini

Giovanni Bandini, born in 1951, studied Indology, comparative religious studies and Indian art history. He taught at Heidelberg University and worked as a writer and freelance translator from the mid-1980s onward. Together with Ditte Bandini, he translated works by, among others, Seamus Heaney, Matt Ruff, Cathleen Schine, Kiran Nagarkar and Neel Mukherjee into German.
