Gerhard Senft

Gerhard Senft, born in 1956, began his career as an engineer in industrial plant construction before studying economics. From 1988 onward, he taught and conducted research in academia, completing his habilitation in 2001. He was a professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. His research focused on the history of economic problems and the development of economic theory, the history of social movements, economic policy and monetary affairs from a historical perspective, and fascism studies.
