Geoffrey Thorne

Geoffrey Thorne, born in 1970, first worked as an actor before ending that career in 2000 to focus on writing. He reached the final round of the Writers of the Future science-fiction competition and subsequently wrote Star Trek novels. He also wrote scripts for television series including Criminal Intent, Leverage and The Quest, as well as episodes of the animated series Ben 10, Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble. Thorne was the creator and executive producer of the web series The Dark and worked for Marvel, Dark Horse Comics and Lion Forge Comics. Green Lantern was his first assignment for DC.
