Garnette Cadogan is a German writer and journalist. He collaborated with Rebecca Solnit and Joshua Jelly-Schapiro on the book *Non-Stop Metropolis: A New York City Atlas* (2016). His essay “A Black Man Walks Through the City” received widespread attention. Cadogan has held fellowships and teaching appointments at New York University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the University of Virginia.
