Franziska Gerstenberg (born 1979) is a German writer. Her debut novel, *Spiel mit ihr*, received the Förderpreis zum Lessingpreis des Freistaates Sachsen. In 2016, she was awarded the Saxon Literature Prize for her collection of stories, *So lange her, schon gar nicht mehr wahr*. Gerstenberg has also received numerous fellowships. Parts of her novel *Obwohl alles vorbei ist* were written during a stay at the Villa Massimo.
