Frank Winter

Frank Winter, born in Gelsenkirchen in 1961, is a journalist and author. He studied German literature, sociology and philosophy and worked for more than 25 years in various local-editorial positions at the Westfälische Rundschau in Dortmund. His publications include books on cemeteries, Scottish cuisine, marmalade and Scottish gourmet crime fiction. For »Schottisch kochen« (Scottish Cooking), he received a silver medal from the Gastronomische Akademie Deutschland. Marmalade-making has a long tradition in his family.
