Frank Schmolke

Frank Schmolke is a German illustrator, painter and comic artist. From the late 1990s onward, he worked for print and online media as well as on book adaptations and projects for museums and the film industry. His graphic-novel debut, “Trabanten,” was published by Edition Moderne in 2013. It was followed by “Nachts im Paradies” (2019), which was adapted into a film starring Jürgen Vogel, and “Freaks” (2020), a dark reinterpretation of the film of the same name. In 2021, Schmolke published a comic adaptation of Sebastian Fitzek’s “Der Augensammler” with Splitter Verlag.
