Fabien Clavel

Fabien Clavel was born in Paris in 1978. He studied philology and classical mythology and worked as a teacher of French and Latin. From 2007 to 2011, he taught at the French secondary school in Budapest. He has published fantasy and comic novels since 2002. With »La Dernière Odyssée« and »Les Gorgonautes«, he also turned to young adult fiction; »Les Gorgonautes« received the 2009 Prix Imaginales. His other award-winning books for young readers include »Décollage immédiat« (Prix des Incorruptibles, 2014) and »L’Odyssée d’Hugo« (Prix Imaginales, 2017). He also wrote the gamebook »Mission Pompeii«, in which readers take on the role of the hero.
