Fabian Dietrich was born in 1984 in Laufenburg, Germany, and grew up in a small village in the southern Black Forest. After finishing school and completing community service, he studied fashion design in Stuttgart. From 2009 to 2016, he worked as a fashion designer for a Berlin label, followed by six months as a sous chef at a Berlin restaurant. In 2017, he founded the online food magazine About Fuel and worked as a recipe developer, content producer, and food photographer.
