Eva Reisinger, born in Upper Austria in 1992, studied journalism in Vienna. She worked for media organizations in Hamburg, Berlin and Istanbul and, from 2017, established an Austria-focused section for ZEIT’s young-media outlet. As a correspondent, she reported from Austria and contributed to publications including ZEIT, ZEIT Online, Wiener Zeitung, Die Presse and VICE. Her first book, »Was geht, Österreich?«, was published by Kiepenheuer & Witsch in 2021. Her debut novel, »Männer töten« (Leykam, 2023), was nominated for the Austrian Book Prize for Debut. She also received the City of Vienna’s Start Literature Scholarship for her debut novel.
