Ebba D. Drolshagen (born in 1948 in Büdingen, Germany) was an author, journalist, publicist, and translator from English and Norwegian. She spent her first five years in Norway with her Norwegian mother and studied English, German, and linguistics in Frankfurt am Main and at the University of Chicago, where she earned an M.A. From 1985 onward, she worked as a translator and published several nonfiction books, including *Gebrauchsanweisung für Norwegen* and *Wie man sich allein auf See einen Zahn zieht*. She also translated works by, among others, Gertrude Bell, Edith Wharton, Edvard Hoem, and Mona Høvring.
