Inger Merete Hobbelstad

Inger Merete Hobbelstad (born 1980) is a Norwegian literary scholar and journalist. She has written about culture, film and theatre. Her essay collection “Ein Leben mit Shakespeare” was published in Norway in 2016. In 2018, she received the “Golden Pen” (Gullpennen) award in recognition of her linguistic and rhetorical quality. She has been particularly interested in Shakespeare and English-language culture since childhood.
