Martina Behm

Martina Behm, born in 1974, grew up in Schleswig-Holstein. She trained as a journalist and studied economics in Konstanz and Oxford. She is best known as a knitwear designer whose patterns focus on simple, relaxing knitting. By her own account, she is drawn to knitting because it allows her to create things and work with wool. Her first novel, *Hier draußen*, was published by dtv in 2025.
