Die Armutskonferenz is a network founded in 1995, bringing together more than 40 social organizations as well as educational and research institutions in Austria and Europe. Its work focuses on the causes and effects of poverty and social exclusion, as well as strategies to combat and prevent them. The organizations affiliated with the network advise, support, and accompany more than 500,000 people each year.
