Alban Knecht

Alban Knecht studied social work, sociology and economics and holds a doctorate in philosophy. He worked as a social scientist for the Austrian Poverty Conference, a network addressing poverty and social exclusion, and taught at institutions including the University of Klagenfurt, the University of Linz, FH Campus Wien and Hochschule München. His academic work focused on social inequality, social justice, poverty, social policy and social pedagogy. He also researched employment support for young people and resource-oriented approaches in social work.
