Delia Owens

Born in Georgia, Delia Owens worked as a zoologist for more than twenty years in various African countries. Together with her then-husband, Mark, she studied elephants, lions, and hyenas. Her debut novel, Where the Crawdads Sing, became one of the most successful American debuts of all time.
