Dave Eggers

Dave Eggers (born 1970) is an American writer, journalist, screenwriter, and editor. He founded the independent publishing house and literary journal McSweeney’s. His autobiographical book A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius was published in 2000 and made him a Pulitzer Prize finalist in 2001. His notable works include Zeitoun, A Hologram for the King, The Circle, and Every. A Hologram for the King was nominated for the National Book Award, while Zeitoun received, among other honors, the American Book Award.
