Cornelia Scheel

Cornelia Scheel (born 1963) initially studied medicine before working for the German Cancer Aid. In 1969, her mother, Mildred Scheel, married Walter Scheel, who later became Germany’s Federal President; Cornelia Scheel was adopted by him and took his surname. She worked as an author and as Hella von Sinnen’s manager, and served as chair of the Mildred Scheel support association.
