Cornelia Haas

Cornelia Haas, born in 1972, initially trained as a sign and illuminated-sign maker. She then studied graphic design and visual communication with a focus on illustration at Münster University of Applied Sciences. From 2003, she worked as a freelance illustrator for children’s and young people’s books, as well as schoolbooks, picture books and cookbooks. In 2018, she was appointed professor of illustration at Münster University of Applied Sciences. Her picture book “Hundemüde Hunde” was nominated by the Stiftung Buchkunst in 2005 as one of the most beautiful German picture books.
