Christian Bermes

Born in 1968, Christian Bermes is a German philosopher. His academic career includes a professorship in philosophy at the University of Koblenz-Landau and an earlier position as a research assistant in philosophy at the University of Trier. He also served as managing director of the Max Scheler Society and of the Institute for Media and Culture at the University of Trier. His research areas include phenomenology, philosophy of language, epistemology, philosophical anthropology, cultural philosophy, and moral philosophy. He has published on Husserl, Cassirer, Wittgenstein, Merleau-Ponty, and other philosophers.
