Charlotte Kossuth

Charlotte Kossuth (1925–2014) was born in Bolkenhain, Silesia. She initially worked as a Russian-language editor in Halle (Saale) and then spent nearly thirty years as a publishing editor for Russian and Soviet literature in Berlin. She also translated works by authors including Chinghiz Aitmatov, Viktor Astafyev, and Daniil Granin. Kossuth died in Berlin in 2014.
