Charlie Kaufman

Charlie Kaufman (born 1958 in New York) is an American screenwriter and film director. He first gained international recognition for his screenplay for “Being John Malkovich” (1999). In 2005, he won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.” “Ameisig” (2021) is his debut novel.
