Charles Rettinghaus

Charles Rettinghaus (born 1962) is a German actor, dubbing artist, and narrator of audiobooks and audio dramas. He became known as the German voice of LeVar Burton in the series *Star Trek: The Next Generation*. He has also dubbed actors including Jamie Foxx, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Robert Downey Jr., as well as Victor Williams as Deacon Palmer in *The King of Queens*. Rettinghaus trained in acting and musical theater at the Margot Höpfner drama school in Hamburg and has worked on television series, feature films, commercials, audiobooks, and audio dramas.
