Carson Ellis

Carson Ellis (born 1975) is known as an illustrator, artist, and author of picture and children’s books. She first gained wider recognition by designing album artwork for The Decemberists, the band of her husband, Colin Meloy. She illustrated Meloy’s young adult novel *Wildwood* and co-created the *Wildwood* book series with him. In 2010, Ellis received the Society of Illustrators’ Silver Medal for her work. Her own picture books include *Home* (*Zuhause*).
