Burkhard Hofmann

Born in 1954, Burkhard Hofmann is a specialist in psychotherapeutic medicine and psychosomatic medicine. He began working in his own practice in Hamburg in 1991. Through private contacts, he came into contact with the Arab world at an early stage; he subsequently treated many Muslim patients and, for an extended period, regularly treated patients in the Persian Gulf region. In 2018, Droemer published his book *Und Gott schuf die Angst. Ein Psychogramm der arabischen Seele*.
