Bodo Plachta

Bodo Plachta (born 1956) is a Germanist, textual scholar and editor. He taught modern German literature at the University of Osnabrück. His numerous publications address the theory and practice of scholarly editing in German studies. He has also edited works by Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, Friedrich Schiller, Johann Wolfgang Goethe, Annette von Droste-Hülshoff and Klaus Mann.
