Bernd Kasparek (born 1980) is a mathematician and cultural anthropologist. He has worked interdisciplinarily in Border and Migration Studies, focusing in particular on Europe’s border and migration regime, Europeanization, and digital infrastructures. His publications include numerous essays on the European border regime and Frontex. Together with Sabine Hess, he co-edited the volume *Grenzregime – Diskurse, Praktiken, Institutionen in Europa*.
