Ulrike Hamann (PhD, born 1974) is a social, cultural and political scientist. She completed her doctorate in the “Normative Orders” Cluster of Excellence at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and taught and conducted research at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin’s Institute of Social Sciences and at the Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research. Her scholarly work addressed racism, housing, refugees, migration and urban neighborhoods. Hamann was a founding member of the Berlin initiative Kotti & Co. Her publications include the monograph *Prekäre koloniale Ordnung. Rassistische Konjunkturen im Widerspruch. Deutsches Kolonialregime 1884–1914* (2015).
