Beate Laudenberg

Beate Laudenberg is a literary scholar with a doctorate and postdoctoral qualification. She taught literary studies and literature education at the Institute of German Language and Literature at Karlsruhe University of Education and was involved in a research center dedicated to the reception and teaching of German-language literature in non-German-speaking countries. Her research has focused on literature of the Goethe era and the (post-)modern period, intercultural and transcultural children’s and young adult literature, literary education, gifted education, intermediality, and paratextuality. From 2017 to 2022, she led a subproject on literary writing within the research initiative “Leistung macht Schule.”
