Her professional background also includes work as a coach and health consultant. According to her biographies, her enthusiasm for fantasy was shaped by works by Astrid Lindgren, Michael Ende and J. R. R. Tolkien. Long-distance hikes in the Harz and Alps, along with role-playing, contributed to the creation of the AnWel world.
