Barbara Schaden

Barbara Schaden studied Romance languages and literature and Turkology in Vienna and Munich. After working as a publishing editor, she began working as a freelance translator in 1992, translating from English, French, and Italian. She translated works into German by authors including Kazuo Ishiguro, Nadine Gordimer, Patricia Duncker, Umberto Eco, Margaret Atwood, and Siddhartha Mukherjee.
