Barbara Prainsack

Barbara Prainsack is a political scientist whose work focuses on health, science and technology policy. She taught at King’s College London and became Professor of Comparative Policy Analysis at the University of Vienna’s Department of Political Science. Her academic roles have included chairing the European Group on Ethics in Science and New Technologies, which advises the European Commission, and serving as a member of the Austrian Bioethics Commission.
