Barbara Picht

Barbara Picht is a historian. Her professional affiliations have included the Leibniz Centre for Literature and Cultural Research in Berlin and the Axel Springer Endowed Professorship for German-Jewish Literary and Cultural History, Exile and Migration at European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). Her research focuses on the intellectual and scholarly history of modernity, the history of concepts and historical semantics, European Jewish cultural history, and the relationship between literature and history. Her publications include *Die »Interpreten Europas« und der Kalte Krieg* (2022).
