Barbara Cramer-Nauhaus

Barbara Cramer-Nauhaus (1927–2001) was a German translator. She studied English and German literature in Halle and Heidelberg and worked as a freelance translator from 1951 onward. She translated fiction, poetry, and essays by English and American authors from the 18th to the 20th centuries into German. Cramer-Nauhaus died in Halle an der Saale in March 2001.
