Ariana Harwicz, born in Buenos Aires in 1977, is an Argentine writer and documentary filmmaker. She studied film and theatre in Argentina, as well as performance and comparative literature. Her novel Die, My Love (German: Stirb doch, Liebling) brought her international recognition; it was named Novel of the Year by the Argentine newspaper La Nación and nominated for the Man Booker International Prize. Her novels have been translated into more than 25 languages.
