Anu Stohner (born 1952 in Helsinki) is a German author and translator. She translates from Finnish, Swedish and English and has received several distinctions, including the Finnish State Prize and recognition associated with the Hans Christian Andersen Award for Translators. As a children’s author, she wrote, among other works, the series The Little Santa Claus, Charlotte the Sheep, The Christmas Mice and The Little Scatterbrained Witch. Some of her children’s books were written jointly with her husband, Friedbert Stohner.
