Katrin Lange

Katrin Lange was born in Remscheid, Germany, and studied German and Romance languages in Düsseldorf. She began her professional career in press and public relations in 2002. Her path to writing developed in stages: she wrote poetry in her youth and later completed a distance-learning course in fiction writing at the Hamburger Schule des Schreibens. In 2015, she won third place in the school’s genre competition “Leben mit Leidenschaft” for her short story “Stippvisite in der Normalität.” Her experience with breast cancer inspired her first book manuscript.
