Antje M. Warthost

Dr. Antje M. Warthorst studied art history and archaeology, including at the Sorbonne in Paris, specializing in early Renaissance painting. In 1997, while working at the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, she discovered the then largely forgotten artist Walter Trier. In 2007, she founded the Walter Trier Archive to support research into Trier’s work, critical graphic art, and grotesque realism.
