Annegert Fuchshuber

Annegert Fuchshuber (1940–1998) was born in Magdeburg and studied at the Augsburg School of Applied Arts. After training as a typesetter and working at a Munich advertising agency, she became a freelance illustrator in 1964. She illustrated and created numerous picture books and children’s books, including her own book projects from 1968 onward. Her work received several awards, including the German Youth Literature Prize. Fuchshuber died in Augsburg in 1998.
