Anne Schmitz

Anne Schmitz was born in 1978 in the Bergisches Land region of Germany. In Cologne, she trained as a state-certified educator and began studying social pedagogy. After initially sharing her stories with her three children, she made her authorial debut in 2016 with “Keylam – Die Ankunft.” The two subsequent volumes completed the “Keylam” fantasy trilogy for children. Several of her short stories for young people and adults have appeared in anthologies. “Weilertod” is her first published crime novel.
