Anne-Kathrin Behl

Anne-Kathrin Behl (born 1983) grew up in Greifswald as the daughter of a bookseller and a forester. She studied illustration at the HAW Hamburg and has written and illustrated children’s books since 2009. As a freelance illustrator, she has worked for various publishers. Her books have been translated into several languages and have received, among other distinctions, the Prix Chronos de Littérature. They have also been included in the collection of the most beautiful children’s books as part of the Austrian Children’s and Young Adult Book Prize.
