Anne Enright

Anne Enright, born in Dublin in 1962, is an Irish writer. In 2015, she became the first Laureate for Irish Fiction. Her novel The Gathering received the Booker Prize in 2007. The Forgotten Waltz was awarded the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction, while The Green Road received the Irish Novel of the Year Prize. Enright has also received several awards for her short stories.
