Anja Siegemund

Anja Siegemund holds a doctorate in history. From 2009 to 2015, she directed the Leo Baeck Institute Jerusalem. Previously, from 2002 to 2009, she worked at academic institutes in Israel and as a freelance contributor at memorial sites and educational institutions in Berlin and Munich. Her research focuses on German-Jewish history in the twentieth century, German-language Zionism, the migration history of German Jews, memory cultures, and oral history.
