Angela Praesent

Angela Praesent (1945–2009) was a German publishing editor, translator, and writer. She translated works by, among others, E. L. Doctorow, Harold Brodkey, and John Updike into German. Her translations received the Heinrich Maria Ledig-Rowohlt Translator’s Prize and the Paul Celan Prize.
