Andreas Isenschmid

Andreas Isenschmid, born in Basel in 1952, is a German-language literary critic and author. He worked in radio and television and for newspapers including Weltwoche, Tages-Anzeiger, and the Neue Zürcher Zeitung. He also served as a juror for the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize and the German Book Prize. His publications include “Marcel Proust” (2017) and “Der Elefant im Raum. Proust und das Jüdische” (2022).
