Andreas Helweg

Andreas Helweg (born 1963) studied literary studies in Bielefeld as well as literary mediation and media practice in Essen. He subsequently translated novels and nonfiction from English, primarily in the fields of young adult fiction, crime fiction, and science fiction/fantasy. Among his best-known works is his translation of George R. R. Martin’s series A Song of Ice and Fire.
