Andreas Ammer

Andreas Ammer, born in Munich in 1960, is an author, radio-play writer and director. He studied German literature, philosophy and the history of science at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he subsequently taught as a lecturer. As a radio-play author, he collaborated with musicians including FM Einheit, Ulrike Haage, The Notwist, Acid Pauli and Driftmachine. Together with FM Einheit, he received the Hörspielpreis der Kriegsblinden twice for “Apocalypse Live” and “Crashing Aeroplanes.” He also received the German Television Award for his work on the ARD literary program “druckfrisch.”
