Andrea Rudorff, born in 1975, studied history and Polish studies in Berlin, Wrocław, and Kraków. She received her doctorate in 2012 with a dissertation on women’s subcamps of the Gross-Rosen concentration camp. She edited volume 16 of the source edition “The Persecution and Murder of the European Jews by Nazi Germany, 1933–1945,” focusing on Auschwitz concentration camp from 1942 to 1945 and the death marches of 1944–45. Her areas of work include the Nazi persecution of Jews, the concentration camp system, and the prosecution of Nazi crimes.
