Andrea Hebrock

Andrea Hebrock was born in Herford in 1971 and studied visual communication, with a focus on graphic design and illustration, in Bielefeld and Hamburg. From 1995 onward, she worked as a freelance illustrator for various German publishers. She illustrated picture books, children’s books, board books and games; her work was translated into numerous languages and published in up to 15 countries. She created the popular picture-book character Alberta, a little mouse.
