Amelie Thoma

Amelie Thoma (born 1970 in Stuttgart) studied Romance languages and cultural studies in Berlin and worked as an editor before becoming a translator. Her German translations from French and Italian include works by Leïla Slimani, Simone de Beauvoir, Françoise Sagan, Marc Levy, and Joël Dicker. Her translation of Christelle Dabos’s The Mirror Visitor series was nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize in 2020.
